ZBW-DONGLE

## Z-Wave and Zigbee dongle

The ZBW Dongle has built in both ZigBee and Z-Wave modules to provide the Control Panel with extra ZigBee and Z-Wave compatibility. It enables the Control Panel to learn in and control ZigBee and Z-Wave devices.

## **Identifying the Parts**

**1. Blue/Red LED**

Blue LED ON: Normal Operation for ZigBee Network

Red LED ON: Normal Operation for Z-Wave network

## **Operation**

1. Power down the Control Panel.
2. Plug the ZBW Dongle into the USB port on the Control Panel.
3. Power on the Control Panel.
4. If the ZBW Dongle is detected by Control Panel, the “**Exclusion**” and “**Z-Wave Rese**t” features will be displayed under **Device Management** on the website configuration page. (For Z-Wave Network Only) Select “Z-Wave Reset” and click “Yes” to reset ZBW Dongle.

5. Refer to Control Panel installation manual and individual ZigBee or Z-wave device manual to learn in and control your ZigBee/Z-wave devices.

Do **NOT** plugin/unplug the ZBW dongle into Control Panel when the panel is powered on.
