1. General Description

The VESTA-350 is a dual passive infrared (PIR) motion detector specifically designed for top-mounted installation on windows and doors, offering a narrow curtain detection pattern. It is ideal for early intrusion detection with high accuracy and minimal false alarms.

The VESTA-351 is designed to work in conjunction with the VESTA-148 sensor, creating a robust perimeter protection solution. The HE-100X series includes both hardwired and battery-operated models, with available dual-tech antimasking versions integrating microwave technology.

  • Install adjacent to the VESTA-148 where dual-layer detection is required

  • Configure pulse count and logic depending on site-specific sensitivity requirements

  • Avoid proximity to moving objects (e.g., curtains), reflective surfaces, or air vents

6. Precautions

  • Ensure secure mounting to avoid tamper or vibration-related false alarms

  • Clean Fresnel lenses regularly to ensure optimal detection performance

  • Dual-tech models should not face devices that emit microwave or heat signals
