## **3.Power Supply**

Mobile Lite is powered by rechargeable battery. The typical charging time is 4 hours.

To charge Mobile Lite, please place Mobile Lite into the Charging Cradle, and make sure the Charging Contact Plates (of both Mobile Lite and the cradle) are in contact with each other. Insert the cradle end of Regular Micro USB Cable into the Micro USB Jack and insert the the charging end of the cable into the AC Adapter. Plug the adapter into a power socket.

## **4.Hardware Installation**

### **4.1 SIM Card Insertion**

**Step 1.** Loosen the Cover Fixing Screws using a Philips screwdriver and remove the SIM Card Protective Cover.

**Step 2.** Insert SIM Card into Mobile Lite, the chip side of the SIM card should face the back side of Mobile Lite as you insert the card.

**Step 3.** Replace the Protective Cover and tighten the Protective Cover Fixing Screws using a Philips screwdriver.

Note:

* *Use a SIM card with correct size that can fit in the SIM card slot. If you don’t have the right SIM card size, please contact your service provider for a replacement of SIM card.*
* *Do not insert a SIM card with a SIM card adapter or it will cause damage to the SIM card and its holder.*
* *Please make sure that the SIM card PIN code is deactivated and all SMS messages removed before insertion.*

### **4.2 Lanyard and Belt Clip**

&#x20;**1 ) Lanyard Attachment**

Hook the the lanyard onto the Mobile Lite unit. You’ll hear a click sound when it is hooked well.

**2) Lanyard Removal**

Press the button and then push the hook backward to remove the lanyard.

3\) Belt Clip Attachment

Hook the the belt clip onto the&#x20;Mobile Lite unit. Use the clip to&#x20;attach the Mobile Lite to the&#x20;user’s waistband or belt.

4\) Belt Clip Removal

Press the button to remove the clip

Note:

*To effectively trigger the fall detection of Mobile Lite R29, please use the lanyard to wear Mobile Lite on the neck and let it hang in front of the chest instead of using the belt clip which may fail in detecting the user’s falls when he or she wears it on a waistband or puts it inside a coat pocket.*

### **4.3 Installation for Programming**

To use PC Programming Tool for programming Mobile Lite, follow the steps below:

**Step 1.** Place Mobile Lite into the CT-29 Cradle. Make sure the Programming Contact Plates (of both Mobile Lite and the cradle) are in contact with each other.

**Step 2.** Insert the cradle end of the Programming Micro USB Cable into the Micro USB jack.

**Step 3.** Insert the programming end of the Programming Micro USB Cable into a computer USB port.

## **5.Software Installation**

Mobile Lite can be programmed via USB port connection of a computer using\
the PC Programming Tool software (using the Programming Cable). The USB\
Driver must be installed first for your computer to recognize the panel.

1. Make sure Mobile Lite is connected properly. (Please refer to 4.3.   \
   Installation for Programming.)
2. Go to <http://www.ftdichip.com/Drivers/VCP.htm>. Select the driver file   \
   according to your operating system, download and install USB driver.
3. After installing the driver, unzip the file to a desired folder and execute   \
   the “Mobile\_Tool.exe” file.
4. For more details about the programming tool, please download   \
   “Mobile Lite R29 Installer Guide” from Climax’s website.
