# VESTA Home - Firmware Update Guide

This guide explains how to update the firmware of your **VESTA HOME camera** using [update tool.](https://update.jpab.es/)

The firmware update fixes the following points:

* Improves **WiFi scanning**
* Enables **Human Detection activation from SmartHomeSec APP**
* **Recording** time sync & 24/7 recording enabled

The update process only takes less than 2 min

### Before You Start

Make sure you have:

* Your camera **powered on and connected to the network**
* The **QR code** of IP cam or SN + **Verification Code** (printed on the label of the camera)

### Open in your phone or web - update tool

Open the update tool on your phone or computer, then select your camera model and confirm the camera LED is solid green. The tool will guide you to scan the QR code, or enter the **Serial Number** and **Verification Code** manually, before the firmware update starts.

### Important Notes

* Do **not disconnect power** during the upgrade.
* The camera may **restart automatically** once the update is complete.
* The upgrade typically takes **1–2 minutes.**

### After the Update

Once the update is finished, your camera will include:

* Improved **WiFi network scanning**
* **Human Detection activation** support
* Recording in cámera enabled 24/7
